The Puny Tune is a small four-holed musical instrument that was first designed in 1978 by Bryan Mumford. It is a modern variation of the ancient South American and European instruments classified as vessel or globular flutes, and it has been granted a U.S. design patent.

Puny Tunes have a unique fingering system, which is capable of producing an accurate thirteen note chromatic octave with only four fingerholes. Nominally pitched in the key of C, they are handcrafted from an engineered wood/plastic composite called DymondWood®, and each comes with a brass keychain lanyard, playing guide and protective case.

Simple to learn yet offering amazing musical possibilities, the pocket-sized Puny Tune is one of the world's most portable wind instruments.
